The answer is YES. There are only about 20% of small businesses that survive their first year. We believe that startups and small businesses do not need to invest in the cost of a full HR department but you can benefit from the expertise of a consultant that can bridge the gap and save you money.

With most consultants, you pay the same hourly rate regardless of the level of work that needs to be done. At Odin’s Tree Consulting, we have a few different pricing plans. One of our plans allows businesses to get the level of help they need and only pay for that level of help needed, i.e., If you needed simple policy creation we would charge an HR Generalist rate, not an HR Executive rate. This provides a more specific cost for specific needs.

Yes, we can recruit for your organization to place in roles. Part of our consultation will be to identify current staffing and future staffing needs. Depending upon what the client requires we can either do the recruiting or Odin’s Tree Consulting can place our own staff in those roles.

We can handle most HR-related issues and needs, however, there may be times when something is out of our wheelhouse; in situations like those, we will assist in finding the proper professional to meet your needs. Our goal is always for our clients to be successful, even if we are unable to carry out what is needed.
